The Measurement Uncertainties Evaluation for the Chemical and Microbiological Testing
Measurement uncertainty is one of the key parameters commonly used by the testing and certification industry. The JCGM 100:2008 “Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurements (GUM)” is commonly used in uncertainty evaluation, which covers principles of measurement uncertainties in a wide area of measurements, including the chemical and microbiological testing. In this tutorial, the speakers will use the chemical and microbiological testing as practical examples, to share the techniques in determining measurement uncertainty components and in evaluating measurement uncertainties by using GUM framework.
